Sometimes you do not need a project. You need one formula that works, and an explanation of why, so the next one is easier. That is a legitimate thing to buy, and we price it so that it is worth buying rather than losing an afternoon to.

We work in QUERY, ARRAYFORMULA, INDEX/MATCH, XLOOKUP, LAMBDA and the REGEX functions daily, and we will usually tell you when the honest answer is that a formula is the wrong tool and a small script or a restructure is the right one.

No. If we cannot make it work as specified, you pay nothing.

Can you just tell me how, rather than do it?

Yes — written consulting is priced the same way. Some clients prefer to keep the knowledge in-house.

Is there a minimum?

$90 is the minimum engagement. Below that, the free tools on this site or a search will genuinely serve you better and we will say so.
