Logistics — aggregate hauling
Dispatch management for an aggregate hauling operator
The problem
A Dallas–Fort Worth aggregate hauling operator was dispatching trucks and recording loads by phone and paper. Load counts, driver hours and customer billing all depended on reconciling notes at the end of the day.
What we built
We built a dispatch workbook as the operational core — jobs, trucks, drivers and an append-only load log — paired with a mobile-friendly progressive web app so drivers could record loads from the cab instead of on paper.
Everything downstream, from daily dispatch sheets to billing summaries, is calculated from that single log rather than re-entered.
Where it landed
Loads are captured once, at the point they happen, and dispatch, payroll and billing all read from the same record.
